With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Tarran holds two master’s degrees: one in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Christian University (2011) and another in Family Practice from Frontier Nursing University (2024). After 12 years as a nurse anesthetist, Tarran returned to school to expand her expertise, earning her MSN and becoming double board-certified in Family Practice by both the AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) and ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center). She retains her national board certification in anesthesia as well. Prior to her advanced practice degrees, she worked as a registered nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit after earning her BSN from East Central University. Originally from Oklahoma, Tarran moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2018 and joined Jamestown Family Health Clinic in February of 2025. Tarran is passionate about providing holistic care, blending Western medicine with alternative remedies to treat the individual as a whole. In her practice, she is committed to addressing acute illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and promoting preventive health measures, with a focus on empowering patients to actively engage in their healthcare journey. When she’s not working, Tarran enjoys RV adventures with her husband of 25 years, exploring with their two rescue dogs, operating forestry equipment for their business, or getting lost in a good book.
