Kristin Puhl, originally from Port Angeles, attended medical school at the University of Washington and graduated in 2018. She began her residency at Swedish Cherry Hill Rural Training Track in Seattle before returning to Port Angeles in 2019 and finishing in 2021. Kristin joined the Jamestown Family Health Clinic in the fall of 2022, bringing along her passion for providing care for the LGBTQIA+ community. Her other clinical interests include women’s health, as well as mental health care. She was drawn to working at Jamestown because of the tribe’s commitment to the health of the Peninsula, “It’s a wonderful place to work – I actually look forward to coming in.” She also appreciates the opportunity to work with people who often struggle with the medical system and doing so in a positive environment. When she’s not at the clinic, you will most likely find Kristin spending time with her dogs, “We tend to adopt little old dogs and spoil them, so I can’t claim they’re well-behaved, but they are very adorable!”
