“Jerry” Oakes is a local who graduated from Port Angeles High School before attending medical school at Medical College of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1998. Jerry performed his residency in Boise, Idaho from 1998-2001 and returned to the Peninsula in 2005 where he has been a part of the medical community ever since. He joined Jamestown Family Health Clinic in 2020, citing an appreciation for, “focus on primary care and preventative care as well as it’s commitment to patients, staff and the community.” In his practice, Dr. Oakes enjoys providing full-scope comprehensive primary care and staying up to date on anticoagulation treatments with his role of Clinical Supervisor of the Anticoagulation Clinic at JFHC. Outside of the clinic, Jerry enjoys spending time with his family outdoors; hiking, skiing, and watching his daughter’s ballet recitals.
