Kyle is originally from southern Oregon, raised outside the small rural logging town of Riddle, OR, on the traditional homelands of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. He spent nearly a decade working in lumber mills and the construction industry before discovering a passion for patient care after working as a phlebotomist at a local hospital. He served five years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Joint Base Lewis-McChord before leaving to pursue a career as a Physician Associate. Kyle earned his Master of Medical Science from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. His clinical interests include mental and behavioral health, addiction medicine, and palliative care. He is especially passionate about ensuring that patients from all walks of life feel welcome, heard, and genuinely cared for. Kyle chose to practice at Jamestown Family Medicine because of its clear commitment to both patients and staff. During his clinical training, he often heard about changes that patients and providers wished they could make to improve care. When he learned about Jamestown, it was evident that those kinds of improvements were already being put into action, creating a supportive environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and community health. He and his family have also come to love this community, “After years of moving and traveling, this is the first place where my wife and I have truly felt at home. We are grateful to be here and look forward to being active members of the community.” Outside of the clinic, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter; often at the beach, in bookshops, or exploring antique stores.
