In 2004 Jaelyn received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bastyr University’s Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS), where she had two years packed with experiential learning in systems counseling. She went on to earn certifications in Mind/Body Medicine from Harvard University, Sexuality from American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Feminine Leadership from Kore Leadership, and Somatic Experiencing™ from Somatic Experiencing Institute.  Jaelyn believes that healing comes first from within, and then out to our community and beyond and enjoys helping people overcome past traumas and hurts so that they can thrive, not just exist. “I have a thriving second half of life marriage, nourishing friendships and a passion for sailing, dancing, music, being outdoors and experiencing life to its fullest! I recognize the humanity in each of us and am an advocate and ally to the LGBTQAI+ community.”
