In 2015 Sharla completed her degree in Medical Assisting at Peninsula College and since 2016 has been assisting Dean Short as his Certified Medical Assistant.

Sharla was instrumental in helping Dean establish the very first Orthopedic practice of Jamestown Family Health Clinic and they love being part of the Jamestown community.

The Olympic Peninsula has been her home for most of her life and her hobbies include, but are not limited to, hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and riding motorcycles with her husband. She also dabbles in photography, painting and driftwood art.
